Join moderator Tracy McKnight (Music Supervisor, FREE SOLO, A WRINKLE IN TIME) for a panel discussion celebrating the amazing work of female composers scoring films, and a conversation about the state of the field. Topics will range from an analysis of gender inequality in the industry to the current efforts, through awareness campaigns and resources for support, to increase the inclusion of more women in film scoring.

Starr Parodi - Composer (THE STARTER WIFE, CONVERSATIONS WITH OTHER WOMEN); President of the Alliance for Women Film Composers
Kathryn Bostic - Composer (CLEMENCY, TONI MORRISON - THE PIECES I AM); First female African-American score composer in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
Laura Karpman - Composer (SET IT UP, PARIS CAN WAIT); First female Governor of the Music Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
