Women In Film Speaker Series Presents

ACCESS WITHOUT AGENTS:
The Creator-Preneur Path

You can have agency and autonomy over your career. There's even a # for it - #creatorpreneur. If you want to move faster and chart your own course inside the traditional Hollywood system, it's time to become one. Join Lisa Ebersole for a frank discussion of how you can become a PAID WORKING WRITER or PAID FILMMAKER in Hollywood without waiting to be "chosen" by gatekeepers.

Disclaimer: I have nothing at all against agents or managers. I meet with them often and at some point, I’m sure I will have them on my team. I just haven’t needed them to do what I’ve done thus far. I want to empower writers and filmmakers that there is a way forward without reps. It involves 50% creative / 50% Strategic Networking, Business Development, Social Visibility. That is a reality for any startup business. And it’s a good system to have in place. Even at the highest levels with reps, writers and filmmakers are required to be business people at least 50% of the time.

In this workshop you will learn to:
*Treat your creative career as a startup business
*Talk about your work in a memorable way and create content that is on-brand
*Network strategically and effectively to generate sales
